Sunshine

Ava's first word in English. We bought her a new light fixture for her bedroom at IKEA and she likes to touch the "sunshine". Ava is now 17 months old and is celebrating with a cold. She got weighed at the clinic the other day and is 20 lbs 6 oz (with all clothes on) so I think we can turn her car seat forward now. We also did an "against the doorframe" measurement yesterday and she seems to have grown an extra 3/4 of an inch. Wow, a growth spurt! So the weight gain is upward as well as outward.
