Happy Year of the Ox!

Hey, it's Spring Festival time! We enjoyed FCCN's Chinese New Year's bash yesterday. Some good food and adorable dances from a local children's dance class. Ava liked the dancing so much, she joined right in. She jumped and twirled and tambourined the rest of the afternoon. Here are some photos of the merriment including a photo of her toddler posse, all in their ready-to-flee positions.


And thank you so much, David, for making Ava's beautiful dress from the silk we brought back from China. It fits her perfectly and she looks like an angel in it. (I know, the shoes look like Doc Martens. But they're not. They're just a little big and clunky. Great for jumping around in, though.)
