Another milestone—Ava is 2 1/2 years old today! (Happy Birthday to Aunt Sue, too!) Ava has grown 2 inches in the last six months and is now 33 1/2 inches tall. In other news, she has been sleeping in her own big girl bed for the past couple of weeks and is loving it. Ava's been going to daycare full-time since March and enjoys it now that she has settled in. She loves to describe the action going on around her and has become the narrator of our daily life (i.e. Daddy feed pussycat. Ava fall down. Ava cannot get up.) Her witty banter keeps us constantly amused (which is a good thing because lately she has been exhibiting full-blown two-year-old behaviour!) She refuses all help and declares she can do things "'self." **Sigh** Our girl has officially moved from "toddler" to "pre-schooler."

She looks so grown up. She is just beautiful. I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone since they were just starting to toddle. What a happy girl she is.
Looking forward to seeing you guys soon. I'll call or e-mail you about when we're leaving and maybe we can all convoy. That way if we get lost we'll still all have a good time together.
