Happy 16 months!

Ava is 16 months old today. She's still tiny (she was about the same size as a 12-month old we saw at the park today) but we think she's put on a pound or two since coming home. We'll know tomorrow as she has a doctor's appointment and will have an official weigh-in. She's so cheerful and charming and entertaining. We try not to overload her with too many visits but it's darn hard not to show her off. We've gotten into a regular daily routine and that helps a great deal. Ava's a good sleeper. She goes to bed in her crib at 8:30 pm and gets up around 8:00 am. And she sleeps for 3 hours in the afternoon! The weather was beautiful today so we went for a nice long walk together. She likes being outside but she barely has time to enjoy it because she usually falls asleep right away in the buggy. So nice to finally be living what we've been dreaming about for the past 3 years! Life is good...
