I can't believe my last post was all the way back in March. And now Christmas is already behind us.
We've had a very busy and eventful 2010. We bought a new house at the end of May and moved at the end of August. It was a very quick and easy transaction. A lot more space for all of us, and we were able to sell our house very quickly—all in ten days! So the summer was spent chucking junk. We are loving our new house.
We had a really fun camping get together with some of the families from our China adoption group in the summer.
Ava had the biggest challenges this year. She had to adjust to a new house, start junior kindergarten and a new daycare, and give up her much-needed afternoon naps—all in the space of a week. She had a lot on her shoulders, but she made it through. She seems to really like the new house and school.
And Ava is a big girl now—she turned four years old on December 7! (For the record, she's 36" tall and 27 pounds.)
Loved 2010. Can't wait to see what 2011 brings.
