Near the appointed hour

It's Monday morning and we are in Nanning. We should be leaving for the Civil Affairs building in an hour or so. Neither of us got any sleep last night for obvious reasons, of course, but Rob is also suffering from a terrible cold. It seems to be both a head and chest cold, and he alternated between the sweats and the chills all night. But he's bravely upright today. And, as predicted, my hair is twice it's normal size in the humidity. Nice parents, huh?

We're posting a couple of pics of our room in Nanning. It's quite nice. And we got a little verklempt when we saw the crib. We'll post as soon as we are able later. Wish us all luck.
